The Florida Attorney General has confirmed the legal opinion of Doug Burnett, who also serves as general counsel to the St. Augustine – St. Johns County Airport Authority.  In particular, Attorney General Opinion AGO 2010-33 confirms Mr. Burnett’s prior opinion that the Airport Authority can adopt a millage of zero and later adopt a millage greater than zero by unanimous vote of its elected members.  To view the complete opinion, click here.
